TAIGA is a holistic education and empowerment program, rooted in the acknowledgement that culture and art have been central in nearly every social movement in history and have a huge impact on shaping social awareness and driving change. It is an interdisciplinary education programme based on respect for social diversity, empowering artists and creatives who are self-advocates for racial, ethnic and national minorities, with diverse class backgrounds and involved in social justice movements from a gender, environmental, racial, LGBTQ+ perspective. TAIGA fosters collective and feminist leadership practices that centre collectivity, acknowledge women* as agents of change, enable identifying injustices and inspire to develop a more holistic, fair and inclusive communities.
