Project Description
The StudyBox project will make digital multimedia educational resources available to school students in rural and peri urban areas across Zimbabwe. Through the StudyBox, a low-cost device which can operate offline and off-the-grid, school students will be able to access films, games, simulations and other resources which give them a visual appreciation of the real-world application of the subject matter which they are learning; enabling them to apply what they learn and improve their chances of success in examinations and in life. The StudyBox project will reduce the challenge of students in rural and peri urban areas not having access to educational resources such as textbooks and will provide a platform for them to develop digital literacy skills.
