Project Description

This project aims at a peaceful re-establishment of forests, to be achieved through agroforestry, a form of agriculture in which farmers plant trees alongside their croplands. The project proposes to raise seedlings until they reach sufficient height, after which they will be distributed to Timboiywo community members to plant on their land. The health of the land will be positively impacted, as the farmers will be able to take better care of the trees than would have been possible in a government facility.
