We live in a world where social media pressures people to project a false version of themselves, making it harder to take risks and push boundaries. My vision is to lead with authenticity and create an environment where people feel safe to do hard things, embrace their weaknesses, and overcome fear. I believe progress comes from letting go of the fear that holds us back while combining the best of the past with new ideas from the wider world. My goal is to help people adapt, grow, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Over 70% of residents in rural communities like mine face poor healthcare access, spending over 25% of their income on medical expenses—an unsustainable burden that traps families in poverty and deepens inequity across Africa. I’m building AXIAS Pharmacy to fix this—a one-stop solution that turns pharmacies into mini-clinics. We leverage technology to combine diagnostics, telemedicine, essential medicines, preventive care, and community-based health savings, making quality healthcare more affordable and accessible. This spin-off from my nonprofit, Alaye Social Ventures, is designed to bring better healthcare to the people who need it most.
