Project Description
Since my project is an extension of project started by Dalai Lama fellow, Anurodh Sachdeva of Waste Sensitization at Rajgir, and making people clean from within and outside, I would carry forward the channel of sensitizing local community and future generations. I envision Rajgir as a waste free city with empowered and self sustained inhabitants. Firstly, the idea would be to sustain Solid Liquid Resource Management (SLRM) group under Municipal Corporation and connect it with other potential organizations or institutes that would benefit and get benefited from this project. The second aim of this project would be to transform social perception of waste as useless to resource and sensitize the community towards waste collectors who keep the environment clean. The third aim of this project would be to carry forward the tradition of Waste Sensitization and form an advisory board for SLRM who would get constant support from the university in terms of guidance.
