Project Description

The purpose of this project is to explore the strengths of traditional cultural means of resolving conflicts in Muslim communities, and to develop a culturally congruent model for building understanding among people in the present; between Muslims and Non-Muslims, as well as between conflicted Muslim groups. Such a process will be built on a foundation of compassion, deep listening, speaking from the heart, and empathic understanding, so that individual and communal healing is possible.
