Leadership Vision
I believe that we are all human, prone to make mistakes that hurt others and bad decisions that reflects on our actions. As an advocate for girls and women empowerment, I want to be reminded of the importance of love, forgiveness, compassion and passion for community development. I hope that women realize the strength in community development, compassion for self and for others.
Project Description
Makoko Women Mobilization will focus on transferring my new set of skills from this fellowship to women from rural communities in Nigeria. I am interested in implementing business start-up workshops for underrepresented, unemployed, single mothers and elderly women in rural communities. My project would recognize human particularity, cultural diversity, personal growth, and development.
