Project Description

Start an informed dialogue within International Alert that explores how the organisation can better support and strengthen local field office capacity to conduct advocacy on international policy issues affecting peacebuilding and development progress in FCACs. By focusing on the experience of Alert field personnel, lessons will be learned about the complexity faced by local field-based policy actors seeking to influence international policies and engagements that shape the peacebuilding and development path of their communities. The benefit to Alertǯs mission will be to explore how to strengthen advocacy on international policy by making the most of opportunities via both international and local policy arenas.
