Project Description
School on Wheels project aims to create educational awareness in East Pokot Sub-County in Kenya by starting a mobile school in the region as a means of mitigating disparities and reducing violence. The project intends to give all school drop-outs and children who have never been to school an opportunity to acquire education. It is a tool through which poor children acquire knowledge and within which their achievements assist them to break the cycle of poverty. Also, children who drop out of school or fail to go to school are often elicited to join malicious groups that conduct cattle rustling in East Pokot. Creating education awareness can contribute in reducing cattle rustling incidences.
