Project Description
Connect-AD is a program designed with female migrant workers living in the Mohamed Bin Zayed Labor Camp. Since many female migrant workers in Abu Dhabi live in isolated labor camps, their opportunities for social integration are minimal. Consequently, this lack of integration with other members of the society affects their well-being, adding on to the struggles faced in their daily environments. Connect-AD aims to provide an inclusive and cross-cultural space for female migrant workers to safely integrate with university students by practicing volleyball. During the program, female migrant workers' participants will develop strong connections with university students, who simultaneously will enhance stronger commitments for inclusion and social integration in their communities.
